Pelosi ‘Optimistic’ Congress Can Pass COVID-19 Relief Package Before Election Day

With only days until Election Day, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Sunday she's still “optimistic” that Congress can pass a coronavirus relief package before Nov. 3. She said a relief bill could be passed as soon as this week in the House, but that it's up to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell whether it would go to the Senate floor. The COVID RELIEF NOW Coalition continues to put pressure on both Congress and the White House to come to an immediate agreement on a relief package ahead of the election. Last week, the coalition released an ad highlighting this critical need. We urge you to help us keep up the momentum. It is vital that we are as loud as possible in our demands for action.
