COVID-19 Metrics See First Increase Since January: CDC

 

COVID-19 indicators have started to show a small uptick nationally for the first time since January, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

 

FDA Approves New Drug to Prevent RSV in Babies and Toddlers

 

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Beyfortus for the prevention of respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in neonates and infants born during or entering their first RSV season. The vaccine, manufactured by AstraZeneca and Sanofi, is also approved for children up to 24 months of age who are vulnerable to severe RSV disease through their second RSV season.
