Dear Neighbor,

During this wonderful time of year, I hope you have the opportunity to spend time with your family and loved ones. I feel so blessed to have the privilege to represent the people of northwest Ohio.

 Looking Back on 2019...
Below is a summary of the legislation I've introduced this year. If I can answer any questions for you about these bills, or any other matters before the legislature, please feel free to contact me.
Governor DeWine recently signed Senate Bill 52 into law, creating the Cyber Reserve so that Ohioans are better protected from cyberattacks and our elections are even more secure.
Working to Improve the Lives of All Ohioans
At the beginning of the year, my Senate colleagues and I announced our commitment to making government more efficient and promised to return money back to you where possible. We have done this by eliminating the bottom two income tax brackets, providing for income tax cuts of nearly $700 million, and eliminating government red tape and barriers to small business growth.

We have fought to
help families affected by the opioid epidemic by allowing parents who are struggling with addiction to temporarily place a child with an approved host family while they seek treatment. We have worked to protect Lake Erie by funding the Governor's H2Ohio program and invested more in Ohio's schools. We continue our fight to eradicate human trafficking and work to support military members and their families.

I am proud of the things we have accomplished together this year, and look forward to our continued prosperity and success in 2020!
