New! Veteran Family Welcome Program
The Legion is excited to announce the launch of the Veteran Family Welcome Program to welcome family of Veterans to the Legion! The 1-year free membership program for eligible family members is in recognition of the commitment and support immediate family members provide to our Veterans on a daily basis.
This free first year of membership is available to spouses and children (18+ years of age) of serving, retired or passed CAF or RCMP Veterans who have not yet joined the Legion.
The membership includes a subscription to Legion Magazine and full access to our Member Benefit Partners and MemberPerks® program, offering savings at thousands of restaurants and retailers across Canada.

Veterans who endured sexual misconduct need a government apology
The Royal Canadian Legion asks the federal government to formally apologize to Veterans who were subjected to sexual misconduct while serving in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Legion urges Government to Leave no one behind in Afghanistan
The Royal Canadian Legion is imploring the Government of Canada take immediate and decisive action to protect and evacuate Afghan Interpreters, their families and vulnerable civilians who are at imminent risk of torture or death under Taliban rule. Dominion President Bruce Julian has written a letter to the Prime Minister addressing this issue.

Reminder: Nijmegen Marches call for submissions
The deadline to apply to participate in the Nijmegen Marches for 2022 is fast approaching. If you’d like an opportunity to participate in the world’s largest walking/marching event, submit your application to your Provincial Command office by 14 January 2022.
