Thank you for your
continued support

As pandemic restrictions across the country begin to ease, Legion Branches are adapting to a new reality. Some Branches have reopened following all health guidelines and welcomed members and the public back. Others are exploring ways to adapt so they can continue the important work they do. Sadly, about 10% of Branches are at risk of permanently closing if emergency financial relief is not available soon. Together we stand behind our Branches and work towards better days. We would like to thank our members for their unwavering support for Veterans and the Legion through this entire experience.
As we begin on our path forward, we encourage you to continue promoting remembrance in your community, volunteering at your local Branch or inspiring someone you know to become a member.

Working to get Branches the assistance they need
With Branches closed due to the pandemic and revenue streams limited, many Branches are struggling financially. Poppy Funds cannot be used for operational costs, and Branches are not eligible for pandemic relief programs through the federal government. The Royal Canadian Legion Dominion Command continues to press the government for urgent financial relief for Legion Branches. Learn more about the financial struggles facing the Legion and the efforts being made to get Branches the support they deserve.
