Happy New Year

The New Year is finally here, and there is no better time to set our goals for the decade ahead. For the Legion, our mission remains the same: supporting Veterans and their families, promoting Remembrance, and serving our communities.
This year, let’s all resolve to strengthen our commitment to Canada’s Veterans and their families. You can do your part by visiting your local Branch to find new ways to support Veterans and give back to your community.
Ralph Blais is our latest member sweepstakes winner
Congratulations to Ralph Blais, winner of the “I Joined” member sweepstakes. Members were invited to share stories on why they joined the Legion. All submissions were entered in a random draw for a chance to win $1,000 to The Poppy Store.
Check out the member entries, and read our latest article highlighting why members join.
A sincere thank you to all the members who help make a difference in the lives of Veterans, their families and communities every day.
January 29 is Bell Let’s Talk Day
Help break the silence around mental illness!
Bell Let’s Talk Day is a mental health initiative helping to fight the stigma associated with mental illness, improve access to care, support research and treatment and advance mental health policy and support. Mental health challenges are not new to Canada’s military and RCMP, and the Legion is committed to helping Veterans and their families get the care and supports they need.
If you are or know of a Veteran in need of assistance, a Command Service Officer can help.
