Did Your Hospitality Business Suffer Losses of 20% During the Pandemic?
If So, You Are Likely Eligible for a Check to Cover 10% (or More) of Your Losses

NCRLA is proud to announce that the Hospitality Grant Program we championed during the legislative long session is now open and accepting applications. The Business Recovery Grant (BRG) Program, administered by the NC Dept. of Revenue (NCDOR), was designed specifically to help NC restaurants, hotels, bars, and some other businesses offset losses incurred during COVID-19.

A hospitality grant will be available to eligible accommodation and food service businesses such as a hotels, restaurants, and bars (NAICS codes 71 and 72) that suffered an economic loss of at least 20% in year-over-year sales during the pandemic. See if your business is eligible.

The application period opens Dec, 16, 2021 and closes Jan. 31, 2022. Grant amounts will be determined at the conclusion of the application period—Jan. 31, 2022. All payments will be made by check and mailed to the address provided by the respective business once the amounts are determined after the application period closes. We anticipate checks to be mailed to eligible businesses by the end of February or early March.

NCRLA encourages you to apply online by completing the simple application from your computer at https://www.ncdor.gov/business-recovery-grant or by completing the online application at one of the Department’s service centers by scheduling an appointment on the Department’s website.

Note: Submitting an online application will allow errors or omissions to be identified at the time of submission and will help ensure your application has been successfully completed and accepted by NCDOR.

However, you may also submit a paper application one of three ways:
