As the leading voice of hotel owners, AAHOA’s influence continues to grow. This week, AAHOA’s newest elected leader was honored on the House Chamber Floor.

Recently, AAHOA Members from Florida, including Immediate Past Chairman Bharat Patel (2023-2024) attended an event supporting the re-election of United States Senator Rick Scott.

Texas hotelier Miraj S. Patel has been appointed Chairman of the Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), becoming the youngest to serve in this position in the organization’s 35-year history. The Indian American was named Chairman after the AAHOA Convention & Trade Show, held recently in Orlando, FL. Nearly 6,500 hoteliers and vendors attended the event held April 2-5.

During the 2024 AAHOA Convention & Trade Show, AAHOA welcomed a new slate Board of Directors for the 2024-2025 year.

At AAHOACON24, Kings III Emergency Communications took home the top prize in the AAHOA 2024 Tech Pitch Competition, Co-Powered by HFTP (Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals). 

In early March, Congresswoman Julia Letlow (R-LA) attended an AAHOA Back-of-the-House tour hosted by AAHOA Gulf Regional Director Vimal Patel.
