The updated Opioids: Frequently Asked Questions document was developed to provide answers to some of the most frequently asked opioid-related questions that affect our audience. It includes updated statistics and information, explains how the pandemic affected the opioid crisis, highlights the availability and use of Nalaxone, and answers questions about healthcare provider exposure and protection.

Deadline Extended: Survey to Improve the Hospital Incident Command Systems (HICS)
The American Hospital Association shared a short survey from the California Emergency Medical Services Authority National Advisory Committee for hospitals and systems to share best practices and suggestions regarding HICS. The deadline for hospitals and health systems to complete the Hospital Incident Command Survey has been extended to February 28, 2023.
