Buffalo Strong: Response and Recovery to an Active Shooter Incident

In February 2021, a gunman opened fire at the Allina Health Clinic-Buffalo Crossroads (MN), killing one and injuring four others. Buffalo Strong: Response and Recovery to an Active Shooter Incident features Kyra Krepin (MS, MN-CEM) sharing her experiences responding to this incident, lessons learned from a health care setting perspective, and recommendations for incorporating them.

Updated: Mini Modules to Relieve Stress for Health Care Workers 

These mini-modules to relieve stress are designed for health care workers in all settings, but primarily hospital-based providers, staff, and leaders to use prior to and during a disaster to help recognize and reduce their stress levels and maintain resilience. While developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, the modules can be used before, during, or after any type of incident.
