The 2019 Noonan Review of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) provided a bold and important road map to a reformed and world-leading education and training sector for Australia. What benefits does the proposed AQF offer? This webinar busted a few myths.

The Review stated that the relevance, effectiveness and utility of the AQF is arguably more important today than ever. It provides a common language for the design and description of the types of Australian qualifications and the relationships between them, in a future where increasing levels and closing gaps in levels of educational attainment will remain a central economic and social policy goal for Australia.

The Review proposed a comprehensive set of reforms and an implementation plan that would see a future AQF evolve to better perform its key functions, and to support and reflect ongoing change and innovation in qualification development and delivery.

In this webinar Megan Lilly, Executive Director of the Centre for Education and Training and member of the Expert Panel for the Review discussed the vision for the AQF with a specially convened panel of industry leaders.
