Just in case we need to add a WYSIWYG block to every page. We can hide this in the meantime.

To get 2023 underway James, Paul and Tennant discuss a number of issues affecting the transition and put down a number of markers to unpack in detail in future episodes.

In a typical wide-ranging discussion, the three walk through the wide range of issues including:

  • The current and emerging energy pricing crisis,
  • The non-linear issues of the transition,
  • The importance of business efficiency in Net Zero,
  • The current national skills and staff shortage, and its  role in the transition,
  • The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism in Europe and elsewhere, and its impact on Australian business,
  • Global issues affecting the transition, including emerging protectionism around the world,
  •  Emerging techno-economics
  • And much more.

It’s a great start to the year of ‘What on Earth’ and provides a lot of thought-provoking insights. It’s a great listen.

And sets up the discussions for interesting chats throughout the year.
