Just in case we need to add a WYSIWYG block to every page. We can hide this in the meantime.

The Interim Director of Jobs & Skills Australia joined Ai Group for an important discussion of industry's skills and workforce challenges.

We are delighted that Professor Peter Dawkins AO, Interim Director of Jobs and Skills Australia (JSA), joined Innes Willox, CEO Ai Group, and Megan Lilly, Executive Director - Ai Group Centre for Education & Training and discussed the establishment of JSA and its ambitions for its first year and the medium-term.

One of the Federal Government’s flagship election commitments, JSA will provide a rare opportunity for a fresh focus and renewed energy to drive the strategic skilling agenda necessary for both a thriving economy and increased social inclusion. A strong evidence-base to underpin direction and strategy will be vital.

JSA will take an economy-wide approach and will consider the impact of vocational education and training, higher education, migration and broader factors in meeting Australia’s skills and workforce challenges.

The expectations of Jobs and Skills Australia are high - very high. What does JSA need to do to meet these expectations? What can industry expect? How can industry be involved?

Join Peter Dawkins for this very important discussion for the future of Australian industry.
