Napoleon girls basketball team recognized by Ohio Senate for state championship

The Wildcats won the state title in March and on Wednesday they made a trip to the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus to be recognized.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Napoleon girls basketball team was recognized on Wednesday at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus for their D-II state championship.

The Wildcats defeated Vinton County 76-44 in March to capture the program's first-ever state title.

Senator Rob McColley, a Napoleon High School alum, presented the resolution to the team on the senate floor.
