Continence Foundation of Australia - New Easy English Factsheets
Did you know that one in four Australians aged over 15 has bladder and bowel control problems yet 70 per cent of people affected do not seek help?

To improve access to continence information for people who have difficulty reading 'mainstream' texts, the Continence Foundation of Australia have developed a series of Easy English factsheets. These factsheets aim to help clients, carers and staff to better understand and manage continence issues.

Mental Health Skills Training with a focus on youth mental health

In collaboration with RACGP, headspace has announced the launch of  5 hours of online training in youth mental health. The Mental Health Skills Training with a focus on youth mental health active learning module (ALM) provides general practitioners (GPs) with the skills to recognise and assess mental illnesses and to prepare evidence-based GP mental health treatment plans.

Pen CS Update - Data Extraction Tool

Adelaide PHN is currently in the final negotiations with Pen Computing Systems in relation to licences to be made available to General Practices. Practices will have the option to obtain a licence free of charge in exchange for sharing de-identified data with Adelaide PHN or obtaining a licence at a reduced rate.  Licence will include software including: CAT4 – Clinical Audit Tool, Topbar and Help Desk Support. The negotiations will be finalised by 1st August, 2016 and further information surrounding the details and how to obtain a licence will be released shortly.

Expanded Outpatient Services for CALHN

CALHN have expanded outpatient services in reproductive endocrinology and infertility across both the Royal Adelaide Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The service aims to assist clinical decision making and support optimal patient care for women with reproductive endocrine conditions and infertility in the public sector. Further information including referral process can be found here.
