Funding Improvements at Caesar Creek State Park
Senator Steve Wilson and I were happy to see funds allocated for improvements to Caesar Creek State Park in Warren and Clinton counties. Caesar Creek is an important and special place for many families in Ohio who have spent years building memories while exploring its beautiful campground and vast network of trails and waterways. By improving the electrical hookups for the campsites that many families rely on for safety and comfort, we are ensuring they can continue to enjoy the area in a positive way.
DuPont Groundbreaking Brings New Jobs to Circleville
The DuPont groundbreaking ceremony was a celebration of the $220 million expansion at its Circleville Ohio plant. I was happy to attend this event and celebrate the growth and innovation of business in southern Ohio. Thank you to all of those in our community who work together to grow our economy and increase the jobs available in our community.
White House Visit Celebrates U.S.-Australia Friendship
I had the unique opportunity to attend President Trump's Arrival Ceremony for Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison at the White House. Senate President Larry Obhof, Senator Kristina Roegner and I enjoyed a day learning about their culture, as well as getting to meet some of our colleagues at the federal level.

New Farmers' Mental Health Awareness Campaign
It is a sad reality that the suicide rate among farmers is more than twice the general population. A new awareness, "Got Your Back," aims to help farmers who experience depression, extreme stress and other pressing mental health concerns. I look forward to working with the Ohio Department of Agriculture to help those who are struggling in our community.
FFA Leaders Visit the Statehouse
Earlier this fall, I had the opportunity to meet with the Ohio FFA for their annual Ohio Legislative Leadership Conference at the Ohio Statehouse. I joined FFA in 1976 as a freshman in high school, and it makes me proud to see this organization continue to grow year after year.
