We are just so excited for this year's Power of the Purse, and we can barely contain ourselves!

Power of the Purse is an annual event held by Women in Philanthropy to raise money for women and children in need in our community. The event proudly features a one-of-a-kind silent and live auction plus lots of great food and adult beverages!

We will be collecting new or gently used luggage, backpacks, duffle bags and purses and donating them to local shelters that support women and children in need.

Get to know one of our awesome grantees with a first-hand experience!

Last year, Junior Achievement of Greater South Carolina impacted over 10,000 students, including 296 kindergarten and first grade students in Fairfield County through funds provided by Women in Philanthropy.

Get Involved: WIP is looking for eight volunteers to assist in our 'JA in a Day' event at Kelly Miller Elementary School and Fairfield Magnet School for Math and Science on March 8. Volunteers will teach eight JA programs, grades K-3.
